Held at Balinghem, between Ardres in France and Guînes in the English Pale of Calais, it was a very expensive display of wealth by both kings.

The Artisans
Rose and Martial Pépin are a charming retired couple who have been making chess sets entirely by hand since 2006. Their products are exclusive to our store. All the pieces are meticulously casted and hand painted. These chess games require between 3 and 4 weeks of work each.
